CPR AED PROVIDER PROGRAM

Accredited by National Resuscitation Council Singapore

This is a 4-hour course and includes CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation) and how to use the AED (Automated External Defibrillator) device into one complete course. The whole training will focus on simulation and one-on-one demonstration.Participants will be trained according to the latest release of national guidelines on CPR and AED. This course is accredited by the National Resuscitation Council.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the end of the course, trainees will be able to

  • Understand the Principals of First Aid

  • Knowledge on the functions of the heart and causes, signs and symptoms of heart attack

  • Perform One Man Adult Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

  • How to use AED device

REQUIREMENT

  • Able to speak , read and understand English effectively

  • No medical heart and lung conditions or any physical disabilities and injuries that will prevent from performing CPR.

COURSE ASSESSMENT

  • Theory Test: 80% passing rate, 10 Multiple Choice Questions, 2 attempts

  • Practical Test: 100% skill checklists, 2 attempts

  • Certificate will be given at the end of the training once the trainees pass the skills set required. The certificate is valid for 2 years

  • Duration: 4 Hours
