  • CARE CERTIFICATE UK EXAM

    The Care Certificate is a comprehensive set of standards that outline the required knowledge, skills, and behaviors for individuals working in health and social care. Comprising 15 minimum standards, it serves as a benchmark for new care workers and forms an essential component of a thorough induction program.

    The Care Certificate was developed jointly by Skills for Care, Health Education England and Skills for Health.

    Even individuals in non-care roles, such as cooks or maintenance personnel, can choose to undertake the Care Certificate to enhance their understanding and contribute to the delivery of high-quality care.

    Course modules offered cover various aspects of care, aiming to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees. These courses emphasize

    understanding job expectations,

    personal development,

    duty of care awareness,

    compliance with equality regulations, person-centered care,

    effective communication,

    privacy and dignity,

    nutrition for the elderly,

    mental health and disabilities awareness, safeguarding adults and children,

    basic life support,

    health and safety,

    handling information, and

    infection prevention and control in care settings.

  • Certificate of Appreciation for Voluntary Service from Nursing Home

    Voluntary service provide the opportunity for our students to have hands on experiences while giving back to our social through allocating their free time in helping and interacting with our elderly residents.

    Volunteers play a crucial role in supporting existing programs and activities aimed at improving the overall well-being of our beneficiaries.

    The scope of voluntary work includes tasks such as

    changing residents' diapers,

    monitoring vital signs,

    providing skin care,

    assisting with transfers,

    participating in exercises and activities,

    befriending residents,

    feeding them orally,

    showering residents under healthcare assistant guidance,

    and assisting with other necessary chores as directed by nursing staff.
